LOVE IS BLUE: A MURAL PAINTING FOR OUR OCEANS

I'm thrilled to share with you the incredible experience I had at the Love is Blue Festival, where my dear friend, artist Micky Pulong, and I brought to life a vision close to our hearts through our non-profit organization, HOPE WAVE.

Je suis ravie de vous partager l'expérience incroyable que j'ai vécue au Festival Love is Blue, où mon cher ami artiste Micky Pulong et moi avons donné vie à une vision qui nous tient à cœur à travers notre organisation à but non lucratif, HOPE WAVE.
Back in 2022, Micky and I founded HOPE WAVE with a simple yet profound wish – to bridge the gap between art and ocean conservation. Little did we know that our passion project would lead us to a fantastic opportunity at the Love is Blue Festival, thanks to the invitation from the AGIR À LA SOURCE Endowment Fund. The festival provided the perfect stage for us to express our love for the oceans through a mural painting that encapsulates the essence of interconnectedness.
En 2022, Micky et moi avons fondé HOPE WAVE avec un souhait simple mais profond : combler le fossé entre l'art et la conservation des océans. Nous ne savions pas que notre projet passionné nous conduirait à une opportunité fantastique au Festival Love is Blue, grâce à l'invitation de la Fondation AGIR À LA SOURCE. Le festival nous a offert la scène parfaite pour exprimer notre amour des océans à travers une fresque qui incarne l'essence de l'interconnexion.
Our mural, a mesmerizing display of concentric circles, goes beyond being a mere piece of art; it's a narrative woven with layers of meaning. Those circles, reminiscent of a stone creating ripples in a calm pond, symbolize the far-reaching impact of love and interconnectedness. As they expand outward, they echo the consequences of our actions on the environment, underlining our shared responsibility to protect our oceans.
But here's where it gets really interesting. Dive deeper into the mural, and you'll discover a subtle dance between nature and technology. Nestled within the concentric circles is a nod to the whale's echoes radar – a natural marvel that predates our technological advancements. It's a delicate balance, a reminder that our progress should harmonize with nature rather than compromise it.
Notre fresque, une présentation envoûtante de cercles concentriques, va au-delà d'être une simple œuvre d'art ; c'est une histoire tissée de couches de sens. Ces cercles, rappelant une pierre créant des ondulations dans un étang calme, symbolisent l'impact étendu de l'amour et de l'interconnexion. À mesure qu'ils s'étendent, ils résonnent des conséquences de nos actions sur l'environnement, soulignant notre responsabilité partagée de protéger nos océans.
